The creator of humans. He was a Titan who sided with the Olympians during the war between the Titans and Olympians. When Zues denied the recalcitrant humans the use of fire, Prometheus stole it from Olympus and gave it back to the humans for his punishment he was chained to a rock in the caucuses mountains where a giant eagle would eat hisliver every day. At night, his liver would regenerate and the punishment would repeat itself until Heracles saved Prometheus and set him free.
